Junk Mail 

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources claims that junk mail destroys 62 million trees per year.  Their Division of Recycling and Litter Prevention has a web page that will tell you why you should, and how to reduce the junk mail in your mailbox.

The average adult receives 41 pounds of junk mail each year.  The site 41pounds.org claims to be able to stop 80% of unwanted catalogs and junk mail.
