You’re invited to join in a community drumming session lead by Free Spirit Drum Circle! Drum circles have been a part of cultures around the world and over time. They provide a safe space where people can connect, express themselves, and experience the power of collective rhythm while connecting with Mother Earth.

No experience is required to participate. Percussion instruments will be available.

There’s lots of fun activities available for all ages at AFFEW’s Earth Day Celebration! From seeing live animals to story time, there’s a variety to keep the little ones engaged!!

Hungry? Then Earthly Treats has great options for you! Dannee Hoffman and Kay Marble will be providing a variety of quick and tasty food choices including a vegetarian option.

Wrap Sandwiches

  • Turkey, Swiss, cucumber, romaine lettuce, fresh dill ranch dressing, flatbread wrap

11:30-2 pm | U Dig It Community Garden Tours~Outside behind church

Take a tour of UDICG and see the progress over the past few years and learn about the programs offered. Starting in  2022, eighteen new block beds were installed bringing the total beds to 65! And in 2024 the original shed was replaced with a more roomy structure. UDICG follows organic practices and commits 25% of its beds for our local food pantry grocery store, Lakeshore Food Club!

T-shirts, Student Designed Tote Bags & AFFEW Online Native Plant Sale~Social Hall

Purchase an AFFEW t-shirt at our booth. These Eco-friendly shirts are made of 60% organic cotton and 40% recycled water bottles and are only $25!

Also available at our booth are beautiful hand decorated cloth tote bags designed by the Mason County Central high school students. These unique hand painted bags are only $10 with all proceeds going to AFFEW.
