Freezer Tomato Salsa Workshop

It is time to enjoy the end of summer tomato harvest! Let’s have some fun in the kitchen. Freezer salsa is easy and fresh tasting. MSU Extension nutrition  instructor Kendra Gibson will lead the group through an easy to make salsa recipe. Everyone will leave with a few jars to take home.

Bring your favorite summer snack to share. Feel free to make copies of your recipe. If you have extra garden tomatoes, onions, and peppers you can bring those to share or put in your own salsa. We will provide jars, additional tomatoes and supplies. Let’s chat, exchange food preservation ideas, and enjoy time together! Learn more!
